Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website, the member directory and the Chamber's business matchmaking and enquiry services.

Draft for legal review. This text is written against what the platform actually collects and does, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Please have the client's counsel approve both legal pages before launch. Both become CMS-editable in Phase 4.

Using this website

  • This website is provided by the Ghana India Chamber of Commerce for information and for members' and prospective members' use.
  • You may not use it to transmit unlawful, misleading or harmful material, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.

Membership applications

  • Submitting an application does not create membership. Applications are reviewed by the secretariat and membership begins only on written approval.
  • You confirm that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it on behalf of any organisation named.
  • The Chamber may decline or withdraw membership where information is found to be inaccurate or where conduct is inconsistent with the Chamber's objectives.

The member directory

  • Directory listings are provided by members. The Chamber verifies membership status; it does not warrant the commercial standing, solvency or performance of any member.
  • A verification badge confirms that a membership is current — it is not an endorsement or a credit reference.
  • You may not scrape, bulk-export or resell directory data.

Matchmaking and introductions

  • The Chamber facilitates introductions. It is not a party to, agent for, or guarantor of any resulting transaction.
  • You are responsible for your own due diligence, contracts and commercial terms.

Publications and intelligence

  • Reports, studies and guides are provided for general information. They are not legal, tax, financial or investment advice.
  • Take professional advice before acting on anything published here.

Events and payments

  • Event registration is subject to capacity and to any published registration deadline.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider. Refund terms for a paid event are stated on that event's page.

Intellectual property

  • Content on this website belongs to the Chamber or its licensors, except member-supplied material, which belongs to the member.
  • The GICC name, logo and membership designations may only be used in line with the Chamber's guidelines.

Changes

  • These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
